The Research and Development Activities are determining for the growth of Rhodia's business. Rhodia's R&D organization goal is to contrive partnerships between expertise centers and grant support for the project teams global network.

Accelerating the launch time in the market is a constant and critical priority of our customers and the research organization of the Group aims at maintaining its partners several steps ahead of the competition, in their markets.

Innovation is a powerful marketing tool that promotes new relationships with customers and opens paths for little explored market niches.

In the Asia Pacific zone, our regional technical centers in Seoul, Singapore and Shanghai employ a total of 70 researchers. One of their main roles is to identify and develop new business opportunities through innovative product and application development, and technical partnerships with multi-national and local regional customers.

In Singapore, Rhodia Novecare Asia Pacific is improving the development capability of its process technology center and upgrading its technical center to focus on upstream research and new product development to meet the rapid growth target of its businesses in the region.

Our network of 30-plus laboratories in the region backed up by Rhodia’s global R&D organization permits us to respond rapidly to our customers’ unmet needs.
